Mother's Day

Mother's Day really began on Saturday. We met my Mom, Step-Dad, and both sets us Grandparents for lunch at Ruby Tueday's. Collin had us in stitches with his pure humor plus his great dance moves he did at the end of lunch. Ava of course showed off her indian noise that she has pretty much perfected. She also melted everyone's heart with that sweet, sweet smile.

Sunday was my day. It started off with me finding flowers and a card that made me cry. Richard cooked us breakfast and then we got ready for the day. We did some light shopping until around 2 o'clock. At 2 Collin and I had a Mommy and me date set up at Sips-N-Strokes. We spend the next couple of hours painting. He did so well that we plan on going back really soon.

When we got home, we were starving once again so Daddy took us to dinner. Ava was in rare form deciding that once she was done with her applesauce, she would try an orange. After she sucked all the juice from that, she tried chocolate pudding for the second time! Needless to say she loved both. However, I do not think this was enough. I looked over and she was nibbling on her stinky piggies. What a mess Miss Ava Marielle is!

We then skipped over to Lowe's to get some flowers for the yard. Collin jumped in all the puddles and Ava continued licking her piggies! We got to see Tina and meet her hubby Chuck which was a real pleasure.

Today was such a wonderful day. I am truly blessed to have my best friend as my loving partner as well as to have made not only one but two beautiful children that light up my life!

I hope everyone's Mother's Day was just as wonderful as mine...
